BETA-GLUCANS
Beta-glucans are the most promising ingredient that modern science has identified for your skin. Omega-free oat extract (Avena sativa) is a water-soluble polysaccharide which acts as a transdermal carrier: it prepares your skin to better absorb active compounds and therefore optimizes their antioxidant potential and properties.
AVENANTHRAMIDES
Recognized for their anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, antipruritic and antifungal properties, avenanthramides are naturally soluble phenolic compounds that are only found in Avena sativa oat grains (GMO-free oat extracts).
ASTAXANTHIN
Extracted from microalgae (Haematococcus pluvialis), this carotenoid is one of the most powerful antioxidants. Studies show, astaxanthin can eliminate free radicals 6000 times more effectively than vitamin C, and 550 times more effectively than vitamin E or green tea. Asthaxantin, which gives JuventeDC creams their light pink colour, also acts as a protective agent against the effects of UV rays.
